Kathe Kruse Poupée Dora 35 cm 35070

Dora is a very special doll. A ¨Coffee Pot Cosy¨. Already in the first catalogues Käthe Kruse offered her dolls as Coffee Pot Cosies. Only few collectors know that in the long history of the Käthe Kruse Company there were sometimes Coffee Pot cosies in the selection.. Dora is made especially for the anniversary ¨70 years Käthe Kruse in Donauwörth¨ in a limited edition of only 70 dolls.
The upper part of the doll is stuffed with deer hair. Under the skirt she can hide a tea or coffeepot.
Dora´s dress is made from blue white patterned fabric, on top of it she wears a fine white batiste pinafore.
Dora stands 14 inches/35 cm tall. She has lovely hand painted eyes and a hand knotted wig.
